RichFaces is a JSF component library that consists of two main parts: AJAX enabled JSF components and the CDK (Component Development Kit). The CDK is a facility for creating, generating and testing you own rich JSF components.

Sends an AJAX request based on a DHTML event supported by the parent component. In this example, the AJAX request will be triggered after the user types a character in the text box:
